2010 was a year of changes. I started off in Doha, tried to get a job in Chicago, but wound up in DC.

I visited North Carolina for the first time. In June I got a chance to visit Joy in Asheville. It was a good trip. I enjoyed the city and it was great to see Joy.

Work was great in Doha. Now I’m in DC. Another good job, and I’m learning a lot about working in a news room.

Creatively it was a good year. I learned a lot more about video production and photography. I got a chance to take a workshop with Zach Arias. He was an amazing teacher. If you get a chance to learn from him, take that opportunity.

I finished up a year of poetry. 365 projects are really difficult. Not sure I would want to do another. It is great to have something pushing daily creativity, but sometimes it just becomes a chore.
