Since Obama is going to be president, the governor is the one who gets to pick his replacement. So our governor (allegedly) tried to sell the newly vacated Senate seat. Seems like the feds have a different idea. A corrupt politician in Illinois is something that we are used to, but this is going a little to far. Rod was arrested on Monday and everyone is calling for his resignation. Don’t know how it is going to turn out, but I am glad that I am not over there anymore.
