Two good deeds

Rumsfeld is gone. Just a few years too late. Would have been nice to not be in a messy war.

Brittney Spears is getting divorced. Saw her on Letterman the other night. She is looking good again. Probably been getting ready for me. Ha.

Spoke too soon

Looks like I was a little premature in my forecast that the Republicans would keep the Senate. There are still a couple of states in play, and the Dems have a shot at getting the majority.

Election Day and CU Video Meeting

Elections are still undecided in a few states, but it looks like the Dems will take the House and the Republicans will keep the Senate. It will be good to finally have some opposition to the presidents policies. Don’t know if it will be any better, but I hope it will be.

Also had the CU Video Meeting tonight. It is always good to see the good video people come out for that. Looks like we will keep the Tuesday for next month, but move to Rocks instead of Esquire.

Why I like Movies

Watched Finding Neverland tonight. Love that movie. Great acting all around. Makes me feel good at some points and makes me cry at the end. Don’t know what it is about movies, but they sometimes get to me. I am not usually emotional in my day to day life, but movies do it for me. I guess that is why I like movies. I hope that I can move people with my movies.

Shot some beautiful footage for Guia’s video today. Not sure yet of how I am going to put it together, but at least I am getting some pretty shots. Tomorrow is the big dance shoot. Hope it goes well.

Thinking of Chicago

Been thinking about moving to Chicago. Seems like I need a change. Don’t know the city that well, so if you have any suggestions of places or neighborhoods, let me know.

Got some fun happening this weekend. Guia is down to shoot the rest of her video. Tomorrow we’ll be at Espresso and Sunday at Smith Hall. Should be a fun time.

I am pretty tired now. Just got back from a long day of shooting. I was gripping for Steve Drake at Cahokia Mounds. It is an interesting bit of history that I knew nothing about. It is amazing all of the history that is around us.

Happy Halloween, Life Goal, Great Times

It was Halloween. Didn’t dress up, but enjoyed what other people did.

One of my life goals was to have one of KFC’s chicken, mashed potato, corn, cheese bowls. Well today I accomplished that, and had a biscuit to boot. Nice accomplishment, but I am glad that I don’t have to do it again. I will stick with the original recipe, and some sides. That is the way to get your chicken.

Went out to see Elsinore at the Canopy Club. Virginia organized some people from WILL to come out and join in the holiday festivities. It was a great time. Band sounded good, and I think everyone who showed up had a good time. Went to Mary Ann’s afterwards. Don’t know what it is about drunk people in mass, but they always seem to provide great entertainment. Virginia and Shane were good company. We will have to do it again sometime.

Kind of jealous of my friend Emily. She got to see Obama today. He is such a great guy. I need to see if I can sneak out to see him live sometime. Hope he runs in ’08.

Answers to Questions

So I got a few questions from people seeking the truth. So here are the answers in no particular order:

Yes.
Yes.
Maybe, if you ask nicely.
No, I am not gay.
Da Bears.
Just one.
Amazingly, 14.
El Dorado.
Curling.

Thanks for the questions. Keep them coming, and I’ll try to keep answering.

Happy Birthday Winona Ryder!!

You are turning the big 35 today. Man you are getting old, 🙂 but still doing great in my book. Hope that you are having a great day. If you ever want to get together for dinner just let me know.

Another thing: Don’t forget to turn your clocks back. (that is for everyone, not just Ms. Ryder)

Truth?

I’ve been thinking a little about yesterdays idea about telling the truth. It may not be a good idea to spout out whatever comes to my mind whenever it comes, so I have decided to compromise. No spouting out, but always answer any question truthfully. So if you want to know how I feel, just ask the question and I will tell you what I think.
