No Smoking

Wednesday, January 31st, 2007

Well, tonight was the last night of smoking at the Champaign bars. I am a big supporter of personal liberty, but I feel like the smoking thing invades on other peoples enjoyment of shows. I can’t wait to see what it is like to come home from the bars and not smell like smoke. Don’t [...]

The Great Cover Up

Saturday, January 27th, 2007

Last two nights at the Cover Up. The highlight was seeing Elsinore cover Queen. Ryan Groff pulls it off again. That man has an amazing voice.

Superbowling Bears and Colts

Monday, January 22nd, 2007

Damn straight. Bears are in the Superbowl. Easily blew out the Saints, and then the Colt win in a thrilling game versus the Patriots. Very excites by the whole thing. Can’t wait until Feb 4th. It is going to be fun.

Bears Win

Monday, January 15th, 2007

Bears beat the Seahawks by 3 in overtime. They didn’t really play as well as I think that they will need to. Next week they have to play New Orleans. It will be a tough game. I’d like to see them in another Super Bowl. It has been 21 years since the last one. I [...]

Stop Teaching Racism

Thursday, January 11th, 2007

I was so upset that I started a new blog last night. StopTeachingRacism.com I hate working for a University that allows such racism to continue to exist on their campus. Like I mentioned, I have never felt much on the issue, but it is finally getting to me. I don’t know what is causing me [...]

Zero Tolerance

Tuesday, January 9th, 2007

Chancellor Richard Herman sent out a email to the staff at the University of Illinois. There have been problems on campus with racism toward Native Americans. One part talks about the university having a zero tolerance policy toward racism. To all members of the campus community I ask that you think seriously about what you [...]

Nice Phone, but…

Tuesday, January 9th, 2007

Apple released their iPhone today (well it ships in June). Nice phone, but really expensive, and they didn’t even talk about their computers. They even changed their name to Apple, Inc. from Apple Computer, Inc. I am worried that they will be spending too much time on their other stuff and maybe neglect the core [...]
